Our last blog marked our 52nd blog. This week’s blog is meant to wrap up a full year. We have only missed a few Fridays, so in the last 55ish weeks, you have learned what happens during an average year on the Ranch. Below is a complete list of our 52 blogs that are linked back. It has been quite the adventure doing so much and a whole different adventure writing about them here. We will continue sharing with you updates and events as they happen.
Here are some things to look out for. Coming up on July 11, we will have our annual chicken butcher. If you are interested in coming out to help, you are more than welcome to. It looks like we will also be butchering out last Emu that day as well.
The Saturday before Thanksgiving is always our turkey harvest, and we may also be harvesting one lamb and one cow that day too.
We have 50 more laying chickens and ducks coming in July, so our laying bird count will be up to 200+ chickens and 100+ ducks. This increase will help keep up with demand.
Aside from animals, we have so many exciting things going on. The solar panels are finally going up and other projects are in the works.
Thank you to all of those that read and enjoys our fun posts, and we are excited to continue to share our adventures for the year ahead.
